9th Annual Martini Tasting Masquerade Ball
Twin Falls Rotary After Hours is saddling up for their 9th Annual Wild West Showdown Martini Tasting Masquerade Ball on February 19, 2021, doors open at 6:30pm. This year’s event will be located at the old Wells Fargo Bank of the corner of Shoshone and Main St. With the challenges facing us all over the last year many non-profits have suffered and the need has become even greater. By thinking outside the box; we can make our event safe, fun and profitable. We are accomplishing this by acquiring a much larger sanctioned venue to accommodate social distancing. Our theme is “Wild West Showdown” which will allow all our deputies, outlaws and Scarlet ladies to mask their face instead of their eyes. Along with tasting martinis, music and dancing we have also added a NEW activity to go with our Old West theme, gambling. We will have multiple tables and activities set up for you to try your hand at the cards or roll of the dice for a fun filled evening.
This year’s main beneficiary is Camp Rainbow Gold; their goal is to provide emotionally empowering experience to Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Camp Rainbow Gold recently acquired a campground that will be a retreat from the everyday challenges for each one of the families that attend. Having an Idaho-based medical camp presents an enormous opportunity for Camp Rainbow Gold, they are now able to collaborate and serve a growing need in one of the most beautiful and therapeutic places on earth. Although the campground offers lots of space for activities and buildings for gathering and staying at the campground, there is a lot of work that needs done to accommodate the campers and their needs. This is where your contributions through charitable functions such this one can make a difference.
